If we watch television we are no different than a steroid user.
If we go to a movie and don't watch the end credits, we are like a steroid user. (in this instance, I actually do watch the credits).
Our reasons and motivations for channel surfing to avoid the commercials are no different than a ballplayer using steroids to try and get an edge.
Our reasons and motivations for leaving a movie before the end credits are also no different than a ballplayer trying to get an edge.
The only difference between us and a steroid taking ballplayer is nobody pays us a lot of money to watch TV or go to the movies. Nobody busts down our door for channel surfing whenever a commercial comes on, well, not yet anyways, but their probably working on it.
As for walking out of a movie before the credits end, well, lets just say beware the usher with the sunglasses.
