Cliff Lee has been amazing, a .0.40 ERA.

Carroll and Dellucci have been pleasant additions offensively.
Both seem capable of getting walks.

CC has been struggling.

Westbrook and Carmona have been solid.

Grady, Garko and Vic have been solid. Shoppach hustles and is effective. Casey has missed some RBI opportunities but has had them in bunches and has 10 RBI's in 15 games played, third on the team behind Travis and Garko.

Borowski has had trouble closing and is on the DL.

Go Tribe!

Here's a brief recap of last night's 4-0 shutout of Minnesota..

100 pitches is too many for this early in the season. Oh well.

As for Cliff Lee, there was a LOT of banter to trade Lee this past offseason. Show yourselves people, the same people who will say that Eric Wedge Couldn't hit water if he coached a team by the lake, or something like that.

Kudos to Jamey Carroll. A critical at bat in the game was when Liriano was trying to get out of the inning with a low pitch count and had Carroll down in the count 1-2. Carroll fouled off a couple of pitches, then worked Liriano for a walk. Vic got a hit, then another hit by Garko and suddenly two runs scored and Liriano ended up throwing perhaps an extra 20 pitches that inning.

Props to Shoppach for being a solid base runner. First beating out a throw to first, then barely making it from second home on a single. Shoppach's hustle was huge.

Dellucci and Carroll are becoming the walkers on the team and setting up the rest of the team to get their walks as well.
