No Burks next year. (I wish we had a place for him at DH).

Finley's bonus will continue to evaporate.
Too bad Lawton and Ricky G will make MORE money next year than they made this year.

Sheesh! If you search the archives, I was so against the amount of money we were paying these guys when the contract's were not officially signed that I actually fantasized about coming to Cleveland and protesting the contracts outside of Shapiro's office.

I think you'll see Lawton DH next year. His days in the outfield should be over with the crop of youngsters we've assembled. I liked when they brought Lawton in several years ago but his me first attitude has hurt the Tribe the past two years amd I can take him or leave him. I'd love to see Burks back in some capacity with the Indians. Invite him back next year and see what he can do in spring training. If Murry ends up in Baltimore I'd love to see him as hitting coach/DH.
