Jose Cruz of Tampa Bay had a monster series against us. In the final loss of the three game sweep, Tampa Bay had a runner on second with one out.

The Indians walked the next batter, then walked Cruz to load the bases. Here's my criticism. I haver never heard of pitching around ballplayers if the result is to advance the winning run around the basepaths. Some of the balls thrown were intentional balls, but it makes no sense to create a double play situation if the next hitter is Cruz and you are going to walk him, which advances the winning run to third base.
