    2010-2011 Prediction Game

Welcome to another season of HSU hoops and the prediction game. We invite ALL JACKS FANS to participate in the game this season. Please join us! It's free and fun, and really makes us look more closely at our team...a team that will once again challenge for a conference and regional championship.

Here are the rules for the regular season 2010-2011:

    1. All predictions must be in by the start of the game.
    2. You may not edit your post once the game has started.
    3. You may only name one player per category.
    4. Predictions in the field goal % category, 3 pt. % category and the FT % category must be rounded to whole numbers.
    5. Prediction game results will be posted after the game.
    6. I will update the standings after each game as well, including total points and points/game average.
    7. The AVERAGE will determine our leader/champion, assuming a minimum number of games are participated in.

The OFFICIAL game thread will be posted in plenty of time to allow everyone to make their predictions. Here's one from last year to see what it'll look like...

Will the first game against Southern Oregon on 10/30 count in the prediction game or do we have a practice/test game like last year? Will Super Fan hang out at Jack's practices for the next week inorder to give us a detailed report on all the new guys?

Right now, I'm listening to the big game on the radio against Central Washington. I'll do a scouting report and make my season prediction in a couple of weeks.
    Go Jacks!!!

The So. Oregon game will be an exhibition for us as well. I can tell you right now, that Brandon Sperling is going to be a big-time defender on the perimeter and will get a lot of steals. I'm interested in how they'll use Mat Lipski...most likely as a backup to Morris, but he did very well against Morris when CR scrimmaged HSU early last year. I can see scenarios when both he and Morris are on the floor at the same time...More of a slow down offense obviously at that point, but it should really create some mismatches, and with Baxter also on the floor, the Jacks could be very big at times.
