Good Point, I'd say upto 3 days. That, plus the time they are out injured, should be plenty of time to decide how you're going to manage your roster going forward.

MY OPINION: What ever we determine as the waiver day for FA is also the amount of time that a player can stay on your DL after they become health .....

i feel some people need to think about the logistics of the waiver too it needs to give all teams a shot at a free agent and as players currently sign when they have a 1 as their waiver having 1 or 2 as waivers is just crazy as there will be people who dont manage to see the free agents every single day, just my opinion

How long should healthy players be able to remain on the DL? We should be given some kind of leeway to figure out if we want to make trades if we like the playe we picked up better than the one we placed on the DL.

i don't have a problem with DL stashing as long as the DL number is low (like 3) and there's a hard cap for the active roster.
i think gauranteed contracts have ruined pro sports (except the NFL which doesn't have them). i can see where signing FAs to 10 yr deals to keep them away from other teams would be a problem, so i'd like to see contracts with 3 yrs or less remaining be able to be released. **if** we were able to know a FAs potential (like we can do when scouting other teams), then i'd say a contract with 1 more yr left would be acceptable as far as releasing them.
