This is just a thought...not a complaint.
If everyone takes over 24 hrs to make their pick...our subscrptions will run out before we play a game.

Pick coming soon. I just have to wait for our work mail server to get back up so I can get the spreadsheet.
Some hints - Balrog is way off. Z was thinking the right way but came to the wrong conclusion. 4H11 is smoking something; I know I was stoked when I saw those two guys were left over even after the top four players were removed. Grendel is probably the closest of anybody (both with his pick prediction and the call that Z just wants to be like me).

There are only 2-3 guys that could be taken 1st over-all, and Frates I believe does hold the top slot there.
Take him , you know you want too.

I know, I know!
It will be a young PG SG SF, not quite as expensive as Twinkies guess.
Now just hurry up and pick.

Well, I don't have the spreadsheet to refer to with all the attached info, but I can put the guy's name in the draft thread and edit the post later on to populate the rest of the data, so that the rest of you can get on with business.

Stumps has made his pick. In case any of you are wondering about the bid that is on Stumps' guy, that's me. The only way I can keep track of who's been drafted in any way that makes sense is to put in a bid of $1 on the FA screen. That way, the green line appears on each guy who has been drafted. Thought I should let you all know.

Congrats on Frates, Stumps.
I don't know but I keep thinking "Jordan" when I think about the affect he'll have on the league. To have taken a 31 year old with the first pick over-all would have been irresponsible.
-- Even if Frates never improves, he's a solid starter now, and for 11-15 years down the road. It was a can't lose draft pick.

I don't pick again until 64, so I wanted three things from my first pick:
1. A multiposition guy, because I don't know what will be around 63 picks later.
2. A young guy, because if you've got the top pick, you've got to make sure it's somebody who'll be around for almost the first 15 years of the franchise.
3. An outside player, because I can start the PF and C I have if need be, but I'm very weak at PG, SG and SF.
There were some other nice looking young players, but I've learned the hard way in L31 how useful a guy with red balls in foul is, so I've steered well clear of them.
