Isn't it better for the league as a whole if the coaches are paid their true market value, rather than having a situation where the original coaches are all underpriced and any subsequent good coaches that turn up are massively overpriced due to demand?

In that order, I don't really like the idea of an silent auction for a coach.

Twinkie - what makes you so sure the same coach will go for substantially less now compared to the end of the draft. I figure people are going to pay whatever they have to pay to get their man... whenever that happens to be.

And?
How does that hurt anything?
Coaches have always gone to he who has more money.
I refuse to overpay for a coach. other coaches will pop up in future weeks or years - and I will wait for them. If you want a coach for 300-500k enjoy!

Alright, let's try to finish this up.
Currently the voting stands at:
A) 3
B) 11
C) 5
Abstain 1
That leaves 12 votes remaining. Obviously most of those people are aware of the vote since they've replied to the roll call thread, so we'll have to assume that those who haven't voted don't care to.
This is fair warning that this vote is ending in 24 hours. The final result will be determined then.
