Since the news now reports the contract terms when a player is cut, I withdraw my proposal. I would rather keep the rule the way it is in this league. Is there anyone who now wants this to proceed to a vote? If so, message here or simply start the vote thread yourself. Make sure to post a notice to the in-game board at the same time.
