Everyone needs to set up their draft list appropriately to minimize errors.

If your pick was made in the live draft, put the player you picked in the first spot on your draft list. Then fill in the rest of your list with players picked by people ahead of you on the IN-GAME draft list, NOT people ahead of you on the LIVE draft list.

Here is the order that players should be drafted in game:
    <BLOCKQUOTE><font size=2 face="Sylfaen, Verdana, Helvetica">code:</font><table border="0" width="90%" bgcolor="#333333" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"><tr><td width="100%"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FF9900"><tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#DDDDDD"><pre>Game Draft Live Draft Team pre-rank Player
    1 5 Besiktas Eagles 3 Larkin, Emery
2 4 Hampton Roads Killer Bees 2 Kacher, Romeo
    3 6 Vancouver Kings 20 Tannery, Leland
    4 2 Ocala Mustangs 4 Flower, Dennis
5 7 Beaverton Blue Wave 22 Gaeta, Son
    6 8 Hayward Lumberjacks 5 Klinck, Antoine
7 9 New Orleans Commodores 12 Bulleri, Fabian
    8 1 Ohio BuckNuts 1 Vannatter, Murray
9 3 Lundergaard Mad Hatters CL 10 Keyes, Stevie
    10 10 Footscray Warthogs 11 Tiffany, Darnell
11 11 Windsor Steam Rollers 14 Lycan, Morton
12 12 St Paul Timberpuppies 50 Wiley, Antonio
13 17 Oz Lollipop Guild 7 Pollok, Coy
    14 13 Smithfield Cats 6 Giampaolo, Colby
    15 14 Melbourne Power 21 Kirker, Monty
    16 15 Fredericksburg Monarchs 8 Franca, Mason
    17 18 Blackjack-Edmond Gummers 9 Haygood, Joe
    18 19 Midland Cowboys 13 Sundquist, Anibal
    19 16 Eskisehir Falcons 17 Campas, Salvador
    20 20 Townsville Crocodiles 27 Howton, Isiah
21 21 Veneta Dark Stars 15 Rollins, Sebastian
    22 22 Atlantis Leviathan R*lyeh C*thulu Spawn 45 Diotte, Fredrick
    23 23 chicago search & destroyers 25 Willingham, Mason
    24 24 Holmegaard Hustlers 19 Swackhammer, Jackson
    25 25 Brisbane Bandits 28 Ferrick, Son
    26 26 Chapel Hill Cougars R*lyeh C*thulu Spawn 40 Wilgus, Gregg</pre></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE>

    Here's a couple of examples:

If I'm Lundergaard, I had the 3rd pick in the live draft, but I'm drafting 9th in the game. My #1 should be Keyes, Stevie who I drafted. 2-9 on my list should be the same as 1-8 on the list above. I don't need to fill in the 10th spot.

If I'm Atlantis, I traded away my first round pick. My #1 is Diotte, Fredrick who R'lyeh took with my pick. I'll have to trade him the player after the draft. My 2-10 should be the list above from 13-21.

If I'm California picking at 32 then my pick was not done in the live draft. I set picks 1-6 with my top choices that weren't picked in the live draft. I then fill up the rest of my picks with people who were already picked in the live draft.

If everyone sets their list the way they're supposed to, there will be very few problems. The setup I've described above is intended to minimize the amount of fixing we have to do to get things straightened out, however it's not guaranteed to work that way. Don't worry, though, if YOU set up YOUR picks properly, we'll make sure that YOU get YOUR guy.

    4. Tannery, Leland
    5. Flower, Dennis
    6. Gaeta, Son
    7. Klinck, Antoine
    8. Bulleri, Fabian

Yep, that's perfect. Besiktas will take Vannatter, Murray because the computer won't have a draft list. Then if everyone between you takes the right people you'll get his guy, Larkin, Emery. Then we'll have Scott do the swap.

What about me? I have only 5 spots to fill counting my pick - do I leave the rest empty?

<font size="3" face="Sylfaen, Verdana, Helvetica">Yep. If everyone above you picks properly, then you get your guy as your #1 choice. If someone above you takes your guy, then you should get his thus minimizing the amount of swapping we have to do after the draft.

Since there are just those two options -- you get your guy or someone ahead of you takes your guy, there's no need to fill in the rest of your list.

I hope that clears things up.
