The demand for leisure wear with club markings is great as polo tops etc can be worn when out at night or playing golf etc.
However there is a need for a light coloured polo top e.g. white/grey and club crest with some black/orange markings.
The black polo top is fine but not really a spring/summer colour.
Also a Dublin flag with the Ballinteer Crest on it could start a very colourful trend at Croker next year
Any one have an opinion on this ?

Sounds like a very good idea. Perhaps the club should look at the idea of selling a whole new range of leisure wear eg. Fleeces, jerseys, full club tracksuits. This has proved to be hugely successful in other clubs. It would boost the profile of the club at community level as well as raise some funds which could be put back into the club at a juvinile level with a view to securing its long-term future. Some people may also be aware that I have been championing the idea of orange socks with black hoops instead of the old black ones. Anyone care to second the motion?
