A B+? worth renting, i have been wanting to see that for a while.
I just watched "Carlitos Way" today, an al pachino movie about a latino drug dealer/hustler who just got out of jail, and is trying to stay striaght in a world of corruption and cash. I give it a B. It had good messages, but the plot was unrealistic, with some silly elements (how many gangsters wack people in busy subway stations with cameras everywhere?)
I also saw part 2 of the Scorcese documentary of Bob Dylan. Hard to give a grade to, but if you are a dylan fan, I recommend it.

I saw the movie Hard Boiled last week. F-
It was a Korean (I think) movie dubbed in English. Holly shit, I can no longer die a happy person after seeing this movie. Not only is it long 2+ hours it is full of sensless viloence, bad acting, terrible dubbing, and full of un realistic explosions. It ruined my entire night, and I was so angry after having to sit through watching it that I didnt even want to smoke some marijuana aftewars it was that bad.

I like trainspotting. Its an entertaining flick, and makes me never want to do heroine (which I would say is probably a good lesson to walk away with)
I just saw matchstick men. It was good, I always like movies starring men with mental disabilities (i.e rainman and forest gump) I think that that should actually be a catagory of films, and there should be a section at blockbuster for "Flicks with retards"

I just saw "A History of Violence" in my films class. This movie has to be one of the best movies I have seen in awhile. We have also watched "Hustle and Flow" "Murder Ball" "The War Within" and some chick flick that wasnt too bad. I would recomend all of these but mainly "A History of Violence".

HAHA i get 3 credits for it. We only have 2 exams, the mid-term and the final. Both are gonna be 2 pages outside of class one how the movie made u feel a certain way. It's probably gonna be pretty easy. Plus this week, we pick our Oscar winners, and if we win we get DVD's and shit. So wish me and Lauer good luck on that lol.
