Good luck to thee, Two-Time Defending Champs. We've decided not to wait until 12:59 on Sunday, since posting your team doesn't really matter anyway.

    QB: Colts
    RB: Pats
    WR: Bears
    K: Colts
    TS: Cowboys
    TD: Eagles

We reserve no comment on playing the Eagles D against the Titans, who average 16 a game, versus playing the Giants D against the Jags, who score 20 and are playing at home on a Monday night.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to scream, loudly, if the Colts stifle the Cowboys.

Speaking of football, here's the Wikipedia entry of Mark Gastineau, the Andy Dick of professional football. I defy you to read the "trivia" section and not laugh. If any of this stuff is even one-third true, Mark Gastineau is an absolute crazy person.

I also see why the show "The Gastineau Girls" refuses to make any mention of the guy. Egads.

    Just the highlights...

After being introduced, he responded by saying "well thank you Dave. I just want to make this clear to everyone, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to be a rocket scientist".

At his arraignment, Gastineau told a judge "what the hell does it matter. I invented baseball anyway!".

Put out a line of jumpsuits in the mid 90s, but they were quickly recalled from stores after it was discovered Gastineau was using the name "Addidas" (clearly trying to scam the popular "Adidas" brand), and using virtually the same design as the pattented Adidas jumpsuit. Gasitneau denied ever knowing about the Adidas brand, despite being photographed wearing them on several occasions.

He even prepared a speech about how he had been genetically mutated at the expense of "rocket science gone wrong, done by guys who werent rocket scientists".

To quote Lawrence Taylor from the Waterboy :
"Which brings me to my second point, kids. Don't do crack."

    >in all things in life except sex, it pays to finish first.

Ha! I decided not to wait until I sobered up to respond to this. You are wrong sir. If you don't finish first in sex, you may not finish at all. Ouch!

The Miscarriage lineup. Just playing it out now, hoping for a miracle:

QB: TBA (depending on whether Hasselbeck and/or Shaun Alexander show up. If not, I just might take my chances with San Fran and hope for a defense-free shootout. Stay tuned.)

    RB: PITT

WR: Friggin OAK (because the Giants -- who are playing Jacksonville -- have disappointed me long enough. If you're going to go down, go down swinging!)

    K: BALT

    TS: IND

    TD: TB

Oh, this is going to be bad.

My lineup gets weaker and weaker each week. But still, here's the "Stomp on Snap" lineup:

QB: Washington (Ugh. Portis and two top recievers are out, but I can't take Arizona because they're beyond the suck.)

RB: Dallas (I have to go the team that plays against Indy. They give up 160 rush yards a game to scrubs like Buffalo!)

    WR: Philly

    K: Minny-soda

TS: Seattle (Suck, San Fransisco! Suck like the wind!)

    TD: Seattle

The rest of my lineup. I'm waiting to see if ESPN will say whether or not Hasselbeck is playing today.

    And the choice is:

    QB: SF (on a hunch)

(Whoops, that QB pick was about 30 seconds too late. If Rob or anyone else wants me to default to my last week's lineup instead, I'm willing to do that. Sorry, folks.)

What's the big deal? Both your QB's don't start until 4:00. They shouldn't even be due yet.
