Ok, another synchronisation problem. I play guitar to a MIDI drum track and the guitar is delayed by about 1/4 bar at 120bpm. I have 93ms audio latency and preroll is set to 93ms. I edited the audio and moved it to line up and sync is perfect; it's just a delay. Has anyone got any clues on this one?
How many people are using EWS's? Have they all moved on to later cards? I suppose the lack of a slot makes things difficult

First of all: the preroll time MUST ALWAYS BE BIGGER than the latency time! So you should try a preroll time of about ~ 150-200 ms.
Note: the preroll time doesn't increase the latency.
The reason for your delay could be, that you didn't activate 'Global Disable' for 'Monitoring' in the Cubase 'Audio System Setup'.

Thanks. I'll check it out. Still haven't finished reading the 2000-page manual!

Yes, it works correctly now; so do all the VST instruments! I eventually found it in the manual as well.
Thanks
