    Unhappy

I have a problem with the analog outputs of my ews64xl. Digi output are fine, analog and digi inputs are fine, but all the analog outputs failed (out1, out2 and headphone out). The failure happens simultaneusly in all the three outputs, and the signal disappears and cames back from no apparent reason. I unistalled the Asio driver beta 3, and reinstalled the old driver with no success, i changed tha card to another isa slot with no effect, (and i'm running out of ideas). Sometimes it seems like some software events produce effects over the failure, but sometimes not.

I owe the card since two years on the same setup, and it's my first failure. I don't have any visible hardware conflicts.

Any help or comment wold be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your interest. I'm into communications with Terratec Support: Thay said: "You could have a problem with the onboard amplifier, but I think it might have more to do with the BETA drivers in your syste. Have you not only tried to reinstall some older drivers, but wiped the BETA drivers off the system? Sometime the drivers can cause havoc if they are still present in the system".

Anyway, i answered them that i followed the uninstall prcedure provided with the original teratec file. I still find Asio references on the registry, but they may be caused by Cubase. I'll try to backup the registry, Unisnstall Cubase and ews drivers, and then delete all asio and ews entries. Then we'll see. I'm waiting an answer from them to my reply.

    I'll keep my results posted.
