MIDI-2 Win98SE

Hi, i have configured my EWS64XL as follows:
Disabled[EWS64XL Codec]
Disabled[EWS64XL Control Port]
Disabled[EWS64XL Game Port]
TerraTec EWS64 XL Digital Control
!!! TerraTec EWS64 XL MIDI-2
TerraTec EWS64 XL Synthesizer

Everything works besides the MIDI-2, there is an exclamation mark; "Device Status" says:
"The CS4232LD.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (Code 2)

I have de- and reinstalled the drivers and tried PNP and fixed IRQ settings with ews64cfg.exe.

Anyone any idea?

Hi,
in order to enable the midi 2,you must activate also the codec,after that you will have activated both, you can disable codec

it is not a problem of win98,you can find these info in the section "midi port" of The EWS64 Stress Control Panel
