Tempo varys during playback with VST

Hi out there!

Got myself a new board: Epox 8KTA 3+Pro
And a new processor: AMD Athlon TB 1400
Now my problem:
When playing any songs with VST the tempo is very unstable at midi playback, but audio and software synths are fine. I've discovered no hardware problems (so hardware manager told me) and I've got a latency time of 21ms.
I've spent hours on trying different audio settings and ASIO drivers and EWS drivers, I've written mails to TT and Epox and Steinberg, but their solutions didn't work.
If anyone of you has any suggestions what I could do about this, I would be very happy to hear!

Maybe this might help on you'r problem. Disable full duplex from EWS.

Thanx for the tip. I've tried this, but it doesn't work, for it is not an audio problem, but a MIDI playback problem. Furthermore Cubase hang up after a playback time of about 30-60 seconds. Any ideas? I'd be very thankful!
