My new 64megSimm Crackles...any help would be appr

I just bought my beloved EWS64XL some more memory, it crackled , I received a replacement, it crackles too, the Simm card which came with my card (4meg) is whisper quiet...I am going crazy ...anyone who can help, has earned my eternal respect, I've been playing with it for 2 weeks & still no result..help me please

Some memory is incompatible with the EWS. i found glitches in my soundbanks using certain SIMMs. I think there is a recommended SIMM list somewhere but I cant remember where.

Thanks Mike, this is also Terratecs opinion. But I purchased the Simms through their Australian Distributor, who in turn claim they came from Terratec directly! At any rate I have the original back in, pending a replacement (no. 3).I live in hope, as I want to play with my new soundsets.At the end of the day we all just wanna make music.

Try to use SIMM without EDO and Party Check. (TerraTec recommends to use only this SIMMs)
