Hi togehther!
I got disappointing news from Terratec today.
They will replace the card but I have to
pay 260,- DM!!!!
So, I think I give up!
I better spend 800,- DM and get a Luna II
from Creamware.....
It's really a big disappointment for me..
You know, you have convidence in a product
and you buy it for 1000,- DM. 2-3 years
later you don't have the possibility to get
this product to work with WinNT/2K/XP...
....and why?
Because you bought it too early?
That's impossible....
I've never heard of any hardware being
not able to run in any OS!
It's all a thing of correct driver...
Why should I pay money for an upgrade
of my (really beloved (TRUE)) EWS64,
when the programmers of Terratec are not
able to code?
Sorry, am I doing someone an injustice?
Sorry again, I don't want to be unfair
but I don't see why I should spend more money
in this card......
Thank you for attention!

Hi Jason!
That's exactly how I feel about it!
For any reason, they don't want to
program any driver for HardRev. 1.0....
Maybe it's to expensive.....
but why should I bear the costs?
I will mail them again. I will keep the
facts but I will give them a piece of my
mindex!
I will keep you informed!

I am going to be upgrading and it seems as there are no new computers that have ISA now. So I have made the sad descision to retire my ews64.
Maybe I will get another box just for the ews but I have spent so much work on it and it still does not do everything it was supposed to do.

well I bought the card quite some time ago very early 98 somewhere.... my beloved ews comitted suicide just one month ago...... well i tried to fix her but alas.... she was dead... so i took a bodybag and sent her to terratec, if maybe they could revive her..... alas again..... death she died.... but the terratec team told me I could get one of her new sisters(i mean new hardware v. of the ews64) for just 150 dutch guilders(68 euro) so now i've a fully compatible card for the price of a rather cheap card...
maybe brothers thou could kill and send your ews for a reasonable newer version...
praise ews64.... when she works

That's so sad, I feel for you.
I got my card exchanged quite early, probably around late 1999.
Angry users please hold on to your cards for about 2-3 weeks - Christmas is closing in, and that means free presents for all who still has an EWS :-)

Hi guys!
Now it's nearly one month ago that I
wrote an email to terratec.
What can I say? No answer.....
I feel very disappointed. Bought the card
years ago 2 weeks after appearance and now
.... is that the way to treat a customer?
When I find the time in the next days, I
will write a second email.....
