    Hi, I just picked up a pair of 456 b amplifiers,
    I have a variety of line amp needs in my recording studio and these look like they might do well someplace...
    I know these are 24 volt, and plug in to various altec equipment, but which equipment? or a schematic,

    This would help me figure out how to hook these up without having to reverse engineer them.
    Thanks
    Kelly

    Hi, Kelly!

    You can find a schematic for the 456B at;

    You may want to check the bandwidth of the unit if used in a full-range audio app., as I believe they were meant for telephone apps and therefore would have a limited BW. Sorry I can't be of more help, though, that's all I know about them.

    just thought I'd get back on this and say that these are really nice, full range amps. transformer in and out. I'm using them to boost a -10db DJ mixer up to +4 levels. sounding good.

    Hi,

    Bell Telephone provides HI FI lines for simulcast transmission from remote concert to Radio Stations.

    They use it a lot here .I noticed there was a time delay. Someone does not know how to set it up properly.
