    Thanks!

    Anybody have any parameters for the 604C?

    You're welcome!

    Basic measured specs from '71:

    Fs = 50.5 Hz
    Vas = 199.44 L
    Qts = 0.265
    Re = 11.1 ohms
    Xmax = 0.2 mm (calc'd)

    If driven with a high output impedance, then this has to be taken into account.

    Making some progress and have them running without the back on in the basement. Sound good so far.

    Now the question. I'm using the stock N-1600 crossover for now and can't seem to figure out what terminal is positive on the crossover.

    Hey Gary,
    There is discussion and schematics of N1600 on this thread. Looks to me like right side terminal of "in" is positive. Nice cabs, BTW.

    Here they are playing with a Stromberg integrated. The sound from these with the backs of the cabinets is real, real good. Can't wait to get them finished.

    Gary.... Your cabs look great, are these the exact measurements of the 612. How do you like the sound now that you have had them for some time?

    I have mine torn apart and the left side input, on the under side, is connected to the 0 screw, which is the positive connection point to the coil. So that's one end of the coil. The other 2 short wires on the coil are the -2 & -4 taps. The long wire coming out of the coil goes out of the crossover to the outputs. On the schematic the coil wire, going to the outputs, is the middle rail on the n1600a series crossover. The zero is the positive and the left input.
