Actually, the 'B' is for flange mounting while the 'A' is the original PA version which has no flange mounting holes and comes with an adjustable mounting system: http://www.lansingheritage.org/image...orns/page2.jpg

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you... reply email sent!! Thank you for your VERY generous offer!! It didn?t dawn on me to try anything but the khorn bass bins with the horn/drivers I have - until I noticed the A7 cabinets on eBay! It was like an epiphany? why try to make a khorn sound as good as an Altec, when I could just try the Altec!!! Doohhhh?!!!
