most of my amps are ss class a and dht set amps while i like the set sound i dont feel that i get enough bass attack, on ss amps its goodvia tube preamp but it does sound dry, the last pp tube amp i had was the dynaco st70 and it did not cut it, would the dyna mk 3 or heatkit wm4 etc be better or are there others
sure would love altec amps but they are like high priced jewels

My fave tube amp for the LF/midbass/lower mids is the original McIntosh MC275.
