Yeah- I wasn't sure about that anyway, but after Tony it kinda became meaningless...
I actually felt bad and thought maybe I'd made a mistake...that maybe he just didn't know how to communicate. but after the whole thing is over he tries to start it up again.
The only person I really enjoy arguing with is the redhead...and don't really enjoy that, it's just when it's over....

Would any of you guys be interested in my latest book?
"How To Remove Voodoo Curses (and Other Folk Remedies)"
If so, you can order it from Insane Voodoo Press, or just mail me a $20 bill and think about it really hard. Allow 4-6 eons for delivery.

Just out of curiosity i wonder what happened to user 160815's ID at post 46, and am further curious about the "date registered" at that post.
EDIT: at post 46 on this thread: http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/ult...729/t/3559/p/2
Do users have access to edit their own registration date?

I think some kind of a curse is shutting down the whole hostboard on the weekends. Several hours this time - close to 24??

Seems to be.
I was pondering getting a life before it came back.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I dunno...being a moderator on another forum I've mentioned to Todd why using hostboard is a mistake. This forum should have a unique domain and reliable server to operate from amongst other things. I'm hoping he may consider this at some point...for the good of the forum.

I've looked into it a bit - but, thusfar, I've not found a way to transfer all of the threads, and the valuable information found in them, to someplace new.
At least, if I did know of a way, I've forgotten...
Ideas anyone?

You might find some info here;

I'm a dumbee with such matters, but I know there have been a few security issues in the past with UBB, an easy one allowed session cookie theft, which let a hacker steal the admin (or other's) pw. A similar issue was possible via the "ratings" feature, which is why I've kept mine disabled. Spambots don't see our email addys, but if enabled, there's nothing to stop human access (as O G can attest). For personal security, it's best to disable all non-essentials. Use PMs for initial contact, then exchange email addys if/when trust is established.
Site security's another story, but Hostboard (should) take responsibility for that. I get the feeling that Hostboard is merely a source of spare change for one or two people that have regular jobs, and only attend it on weekends.
Everything's hackable. Moving to another medium might mean little more than having to learn new tricks.
