wonder what it would take to get miley cyrus and justin bieber on a duet of this song -

A nice cover
His original band was amazing and working with Bob Ezrin was a match made in heaven--too bad so many people only think of his post 1975 career.....

I think Feb-March of '69, saw Ten Years After at Ludlow Garage in Cincy. Lead in was a band I'd never heard of called Alice Cooper. Cover was outrageous at $2.50.....pre Woodstock Ten Years wasn't a big draw. I liked that original Cooper band better than anything later.
Worst misbooking...Jose Feliciano at convocation center Ohio University, three bucks, lead in a new group called Led Zeppelin. It was after Zep's first album but prior to the second.
OTOH I guess that wasn't as bad as Hendrix opening for The Monkees. Can't remember but I think that cost 5 or 6.
Minimum wage was $1.25 an hour for most teens. Being an amateur TV repairman had it's perks.
Your neighbors called. They like your music.
I wish I had been able to see Alice's original band. I do have a DVD of their Billion Dollar Babies Tour but of course that's not the same.

Wow--those are some real mismatch bookings. Probably the most mismatched double bill I ever saw was in 1977 -- J Geils Band and Yes. Most of the Yes fans hated J Geils and vice versa!
