Too funny. Was that a time delay in the crowd's jumping equal to the speed of sound times distance? Reminds me of high school marching band playing during half time and trying to play when the conductor waved his arms and not when the rest of the bands sound reached my ears.

we had 2 college stations.
one was only 250 watts, so maybe had some reception or maybe not.
the other was 'a few miles out of town',
so the same applied.
so we got to listen to some fresh tunes, sometimes, like -
the first time i heard lucious jackson, on the college station,
well ...
i bought the cd.
bought the vinyl too. they aren't the same.
which came as some surprise.
the drummer, Kate Schellenbach was also the drummer for the Beastie Boys. (note the irony)
prank phone calls made into a career - (guest appearance by steve martin)
