    Does any one have literature on model A16-8A THX approved pro cinemas surround speaker?

    I could be wrong, but I think it's the same as an EV FR10-2B;

    I think your right. The EV components of the FR 10-2B or FR 12-2B in a different cabinet.
    If my memory serves me right something like the JBL 8333 cabinet.

    Is the cabinet angled downward.

    Because I clearly remember the Altec surrounds from late 70's onward to be angled downward.

    The cabinet is a rectangle; 22"H x 16.5"W x 8.75"deep
    It has mounting points on each side for an optional horseshoe-shaped bracket that would allow you to set the desired down-angle.
