You'll need to research the compatibilty of your system OS, measurement software with any hardware product you might be interested in .

I'm happy with my M-Audio Fast Track Ultra though I have had some early problems with the drivers for this device not installing properly ( causing all sorts of problems , including the "blue screen of death" ) .
    - Many of my cohorts got a chuckle over that .
    - It's been stable for a good 16 months now .
    - XP Pro, SP3 ( fwiw ).
    - It runs ARTA, HolmImpulse, REW, & TrureRTA all equally fine .

I guess I like M-Audios hardware somewhat more than I do their ASIO drivers .

yeah, M-Audio seems to be consistent. Nice hardware, dodgy drivers.
