    Re: Rustic Speaker Cabinets.. Thoughts?

Years ago, long before digital cameras, I built solid pine boxes on a 2X4 frame. I then took a plumbers torch with a fan shaped nozzle and proceeded to prematurely age (distress) the speaker in a somewhat random pattern, to give it that old world kind of look. Came out rather nicely as I recall.

The 2X4 frame was simply to stabilize the pine.
Nothing like a great big pair of speakers to make your day.

Thinking of installing 2 sets of speakers in one box but wire them separately.
One set hooked to the A speakers output of the amp and the other set hooked to the B output. My amp can do A, B or A and B.

Im thinking when I really want it strong I can run A and B.

Will inactive speakers in the box cause a problem? If so I could put them in a separate chamber... Hmmmmmmmm.
No one attempted to answer this question... This makes me think I know why I never worked for Altec. I bet if I keep coming up with crazy ideas BOSE will be on their knees trying to hire me!!!
