    Looking closer, you are correct. It’s bigger, so probably not going to work to create a 416-8B.
    I’ll still get Phil’s and compare with a bare -8B frame I have

    All else being equal, the bigger magnet will result in mid band gain.

    PM doesn't seem to be working. Let me know when you have the 418 in your hands.

    Looking for a pair of Altec 1200hz or 1500hz crossovers for 8 ohm drivers.
    The model isn't too important, just looking for something to play around with. I would even consider “other” brands

    I've got a pair from 1231 monitors. 1500 Hz. Like yer basic 800 Hz VOTT cossover with L-Pad. Have to dig for them. $50 bucks

    I’m interested. I’ll try to send you a PM. I think it might be working now.

    @Old Guy
    I sent you a PM. Pls let me know if you don’t get it. Up until recently I’ve been locked out of my PMs. For a long time now.

    Thanks. I appreciate you digging through the stash for me

    Re: The Altec User's Board Free Marketplace !

    Hi Old Guy,

    This may be a stupid question but you seem to be up on things. I can manage to get to the Altec part of the board from the board main directory and the is nothing there. It lets me make a post but there have been no responses and 41 viewers. Doesn't make sense. If the main host board upgrade issues continue I understand (not really) but if the Altec forum has moved i'm not aware of it. If it has or is still on the host board please send me the URL. This post may be insane as nothing else works so this may end up it cyber space and show up 100 yrs from now. Thanks!
