GPA Altec 604H III speakers crossovers and cabinets!
These are the best of any 604 variety I’ve heard several versions over the last 20 years. The drivers are 3,600.00 the crossovers were built by Jeff Markwart and were 500.00 and the cabinets were 1,500.00. None of those prices reflect taxes or shipping. These are current prices. The cabinets were built by a company that specializes in building Altec and Oken enclosures and were 1900 in total after shipping. I’m in central California for pickup or I might drive an hour or so either way if that helps. I also can remove the drivers and crossovers for shipping. I have the original boxes from GPA. The speaker enclosures have a few nicks at the bottom but the components are as new and just now broken in. I do not want to sell these so the prices are firm. I will not need the money in a few months and will pull the ad as soon as I can come up with the money so I can keep these.
Prices are net to me! 4,000.00 for everything intact 3,300.00 for everything minus the cabinets. I have the factory GPA boxes.
For Sale: Pair of 1505B Horns and 30166 Horn Throats
Hello, I'm selling a pair of Altec 1505Bs with throats and thought I would start here in case any hardcore Altec fans are interested. $1500 for the pair for local pickup/delivery only. I'm in the Chicago area. Packing and shipping would be very difficult, risky and likely very expensive. Part of the mounting flange on one of the throats is broken, and that is shown in the picture, but the throats are easily mountable in the usual way using standard Altec hardware. Otherwise, the horns are in very good used condition. I have more and better pictures if required, but they are too large to upload here. Thanks for your attention. John

Picked these up somewhere along the way and haven't used them yet so it's time to let them back in the wild.
When I got them I drilled the 1" side to accommodate the 2 hole Altec bolt pattern. This was professionally done on a Bridgeport mill by a tool maker (Me).
Flange Dia on the 1" side is 3.9" with the Altec 2 hole bolt pattern and another bolt pattern with 3X 1/4" holes drilled on a 2-1/4" bolt circle.
Flange Dia. on the 2" side is 4.7" with 4X tapped holes on a 4" bolt circle. Holes are tapped either 1/4" fine thread or 6mm. To lazy to check at the moment but can do if it's important. There is a lot of room to add your own bolt pattern if your so inclined.
Overall length is 3" so the expansion rate (cone angle) is not as abrupt as most adapters I've seen. Heavy cast aluminum construction but there is no indication of the manufacture on them. Probably had stickers at one point.
