How was the quality of these ones when you got them? Do they look pretty nice like the ones in the picture?

The quality is very good. The castings are clean and there is no flash or seams showing. The back side has a sort of satin finish which should make gluing easier. The front has a dark fill in the recessed features which gives a bit more relief and visibility to the details.
Good description, yes? I should start an audio equipment badge review site. I could have guest reviewers and a recommended badge issue.

Cool, Thanks Buddy. Also we need a website that rates audio businesses on the web.

You know, there's no point in making lame ass efforts to be amusing if they're taken seriously.
I hope your project works out OK.

It's cool dude, I didn't really take your name badge site seriously.
I'm just still pissy over this Irebuldmarantz.com deal I got myself into... If there was a place to check an online businesses credentials before getting tangled up with them.

I just went to the irebuildmarantz.com website and when I clicked on the I Rebuild Marantz banner, it took me to a donate to Ron Paul website! Weird.....

Did I miss the post of the repair your Marantz nightmare? If it's nightmare repair stories you want, Iv'e got a great one.

Yeah I didn't really tell the story about it but now I have a really great horror repair story too. Don't deal with him.
I don't think everybody here wants to hear my horror story. I'll PM you with it.

We do. It can't be any worse than my Crown DC300A story that had it at the local repair shop for 9 months until 30 minutes before the evacuation sirens sounded and I remembered that it was at the repair shop and retrieved it, right before Minot, ND, and the shop was flooded 8 feet deep in flood water from the Mighty Mouse River. There was stereo equipment stacked 4 feet deep throughout the store that wasn’t rescued. Lost the shipping box and the manual which can be replaced but...

Glad to hear you got her out in time....9 months...I think I would have retrieved it long before that and went somewhere else.
