I started on a font hunt today and found a really nice virus, wiped my ass clean. >: ( The font "Bicycle" was really close to what were looking for.
OK, thanks. I had a quick stab at cleaning it up and turning it into a vector file, but as you say, bigger it starts to get sloppy. Too bad, it would be an ideal to work from. Maybe some else will have better luck than I.

FWIW I think there are 3 or 4 different variations of this decal through the years. Subtle differences maybe different printing Co. through Altecs history.
Here's a couple ! Just missing the R trademark circle.. On these catalog pages.
Look at the difference between these two, one from 1945 and the latter 1949.
And the latter page from 1949.
And here is a decal I saved from an 820 cabinet on eBay.Notice the differences between GM's 820 picture and my 820 picture. This may create some confusion they are all not the same decal guys. Some are Gold and Black and others Silver and Black. And the same one blown up.These should help...
Dug around found a Pro catalog circa 1955 here is the logo from it
I think I'm gonna scan and post as I haven't seen this one on the net.
Your neighbors called. They like your music.
I think I am getting closer to the common decal. Any thoughts on this? http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...Alteclogo7.jpg
Regarding the style to purchase... I like the true metallic gold version. My thoughts before this group buy came up was to cut a glue mask and use gold leaf with a waterslide decal of the outline over the top.
Works for me.
