I guess I should have said I want the gold metallic because I believe that is what the originals are. I’ve never seen one in person but that is what the pictures look like to me.

Never paid any attention to them, they were just dated looking decals to me. Frankly, I'm surprised there's so much interest in them. Altec's golden age was during the maestro emblem era Todd uses for the forum and I had silk screened on T-shirts. It's simple, elegant and I imagine can be inexpensively made at Kinko's or similar. IIRC, Buzz still has the Photoshop artwork. GM

Assuming an Alps with gold foil will work, for the cost of two sheets you own the printer and all the supplies need to start making them.
It looks metallic but I don't think it is.. It looks like gold leaf/gold foil which makes it look metallic IMHO...

Thanks AB. Sounds like silkscreen with metallic ink is the way to go.
GM, something about the simple logo that appeals to me. The Maestro is nice, too - but I really like the gold and black "Altec". Dated logo may be why I like it!

    Yo Best,
Would you please print this out and check it against the original? It should be scaled to print at 100%

The email I sent gave me an idea, I printed double size to a transparency and held it over a picture on my monitor that was scaled to match. I have two small changes to make that I can see. Slide the word “corporation” slightly to the right and modify the A in the second version I sent. My program is not scaling line weights so we will need to check that in person. Best, if you can verify that the line weight is right I can mail you a full scale print on a transparency for final verification.

Yes it looks like it is off a bit Take a look.Line weights are a bit heavy on the LTE and back and top of C...To my eyes. The bar looks good now.
