Here is my latest speaker build. The base design is a 620. Then modified to inset the front baffle, add dual front ports, move the attenuator to the front baffle and a totally different internal bracing system.

Here is a picture taken during the build that shows the internal bracing. I had not finished installing the back mounting blocks yet.
There a lot of DIY's out there.
There are very few on this level.
Excellent, superb, stunning, are a few words that come to mind.
For me personally, they evoke a big "WOW!" colored Altec green with envy.
It could be said with great accuracy that i really really really like those
I bet they sound even better than they look!!! LUCKY!!! (in Napoleon Dynamites voice)
Do you run them and the Martin Logans at the same time?
The Altecs are only there for testing. I will keep them in there while I build custom crossovers and fine tune the port lengths. Then they travel to Austin to a friends house, who I built these for. The Martin Logan Prodigy are the standard speakers for the dining room.
WW, your friend will undoubtedly be pleased!
What volume did you choose for those cabinets? Did you go with 9 CF like the 620? Where is the tuning ending up? Are those 5" ducts?
