The selling strategy of a very high starting bid seems to not work too well.

Yeah, his price scared people away. That really is a nice looking pair of Barcelonas but he started the bidding higher than many people would go with their final bid. I could see someone paying that as a BIN price (or someone sniping them at the last minute and getting them for that opening bid), but they're not a bargain at $1799 IMHO even if they are apparently in great shape.....Originally Posted by Alien_Shore
