Yes, some of the 9444s did go that low, some went about $100. From what I saw all the pictures were the same. Who knows what lot number that woofer was labeled with. They had a disclaimer that said pictures didn't mean much, and to read the description. No woofers were specified in the descriptions, only the crossovers and HF drivers.......and I think Mantarays were applicable.

If I had the money I would have gambled a bit, but I couldn't afford the gas money, or to take work off........ pickup was two days during work, and non-flexible.

Edit, I didn't look at the Ashleys, I did watch the JBLs, Though. Some of those cabinets went as high as $300.

You have to watch closely, very poor performance by the auction company. Some of the JBL's were sold in lots of 4 like the Ashly(there's no E in Ashly ) power amps.

OH...... I did not notice that! That would certainly make a difference.

A S H L Y...... Ok :-) I know they're supposed to be pretty good, but I don't know anything about them. For now, my 9444A keeps me happy. It's really the one piece of gear that I don't wish was different or need a second...... I could use a second, but don't need it HAHA!
