I would suggest you not build the horns and, instead put your 416's in these GM's MLTL with 416-8B:

They are certainly big enough to pull major mojo on the fairer sex and they sound good too! I really should tout these more than I do but I guess I'm like most, when I get a good thing going, I kick back and enjoy.

GM hit one out of the park on this design, IMO. Many thanks again!

The 816 is slightly less efficient, and can't be tuned as well as the 828. But a LOT easier to build.

For one the back chamber is too small. Easy to make it smaller, try making it bigger without changing the box. Same deal with the ports, they're a bit long.

They(816's) also need to be elevated for nearly all applications unless you have ears in your knees.

Portability/compactness is actually one of their advantages, you can effectively put twice as many 816's as 828's in any given space.
