    Check that seller's feedback.

Looks like a good deal to me. The matched DC resistance suggests they will likely be well matched parametrically, and that's a premium that's hard to put a price on.

Considering the original cones, and superb cosmetic condition, that was probably a very good price since just any two old working, and unmatched 515B's will generally fetch $1200 plus.

I don't know about superb cosmetic condition. It looks like the dog lifted his leg on one of them and the other one has a crease in the cone about 5" long. Not that it would affect the sound much, but not "mint" by any stretch. I think I need to sell mine. They're obviously worth more to someone else than me.

    Re: Huh????

I didn't look at the bigger pic to see that one cone is creased, i assumed it was just a track in the dust from the first pic. That is sad. That is likely what kept the price down.

Dirt and small stains usually have little effect on their value, check out what they bring fully peppered with screen paint overspray.

I promise you, the buyer of those will be very very pleased, crease and all.

I think I need to sell mine. They're obviously worth more to someone else than me.
"We" are certainly not the market that has dictated and stabilized the price/value of 515's, that's for sure.

    Re: Huh????

Yup, that's a good price for a pair with original cones and markings that probably can be gently cleaned off.

Plus, the seller will post worldwide. That in itself will add $300-500 to a pair if the Asian Audiophiles can bid.
