Fair Price for 612 Cabinets?

Hi All,

I did a search on the board but it has come up with a lot of expired CL links etc... I was just wondering what the general consensus is on a fair price for an original set of empty 612 cabinets in "very good" condition. I've found a set locally, but the seller is asking an outrageous price. I'd like to put out a fair offer, but have no basis for comparison. Any and all input would be most appreciated.

My apologies if I have the incorrect board...

I'm not looking to sell or buy anything - I was simply searching for peoples opinions...

I've recently found said cabinets from a local seller and his asking price is out there...

I'm wondering what the community thought a fair market price (ballpark) would be.

If this is more of a topic that would be best answered in the marketplace, please feel free to move on my behalf.

What kind of 612 ? Original,612C ? Do you have any photos ?

I only have one picture to go by: Not sure which version of 612 it is, and the seller is not too knowledgeable on variances in altec cabs. I'm told they are 604E's in the cabinets. I was looking at just the cabs to house my 604-8G's.

They look like the original style..Prices on these can be all over the place.. Anywhere from a couple hundred up to $600-$700..There was a whole lot of these few years back that sold for quite a bit.
