To everyone in my Altec family -
Last night, after 9 months of serious health problems, and even though he was getting much better Friday and Saturday, my 27-year old son, Nathaniel Paul White, died suddenly in the hospital. We don't know why yet, but it may have been a massive blood clot that went to his heart or brain. Family members, including his wife, Rebekah, and sister, Hannah, were with him when it happened. His mother and I were not there, which makes it very hard for us.
Nathaniel leaves behind his wife, Rebekah, and 3 little children, the youngest being only 8 months old.
He died on their 7th wedding anniversary. Fortunately, we were able to get Rebekah up to the hospital so she could spend the day - and what turned out to be his last day - with her husband.
My Altec family has meant a lot to me, and Nathaniel grew up helping me install Altec sound systems all over Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was an excellent sound system operator, and I will miss him more than I can say.
Your prayers are appreciated. Please also pray that the funeral home will let me pay out the cost of burying Nathaniel, as he had no life insurance and we have no savings.
