Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.
ebay pair appears to have incorrect woofers.
Those assymetric horn flares are interesting.
Not all vegetables make good leaders.
Very limited experience. In stock form smoother than an A7 IMHO. Designed to work with subs.
As Bowtie says, wrong woofs on eBay, or incorrectly reconed.

The A700 was designed by my friend Jerry Hubbard. It was designed to be a modern update to the A7. It had the 515-G series woofer, which is optimized for the bass horn, an MR994A horn with 909 compression driver, and a crossover. He spent a lot of time getting the directivity patterns and physical alignment between the LF & HF horns, and it performed extremely well.
