for the LF build a Bill Fitzmaurice Tuba horn loaded with a high sensitivity neodymium woofer(kappalite 3015 @ less than 8lbs) for weight savings, attenuate the horn down for a reasonable balance.

I would look at something like a smaller Mantaray to allow a bigger LF.

I?m in Dortmund Germany. We had already connected several audios with modified wireless headphones and that gives a reach of 300 ft. in one direction, but in the city its not reliable. Thats another problem to solve: how to transmitt the music signal simultaneously to the receivers. If you study the tcpip protocol you will never find a point related to realtime and because of the different buffer times of each receiver you will get a cacophonie ( sad experience already made ).
FM transmission is so illegal here , you don?t even want to think of it.
But to ride in a cloud of sound if it works, lifts your spirits.

Why not just strap 4, 5, or 6 V-DOSC units on there and be done with it?

    Fair enough and agreed.

I'm wondering about something like the 815/817 horn less the exterior cabinet. It would still require some form of skeletal frame, and probably some form of rear chamber depending on the drivers and level of power you're going to run them on. But, omitting those large exterior panels that form a traditional box would reduce the weight considerably without having much effect on function.
