atilsley, it looks like you are first building a flat horn floor for the curved side horn boards to fit into and then are going to piece in the sloped horn bottom later?

Yes, I've added a horizontal floor/shelf...the angled bottom horn panel then sits on top of this shelf.
The curved side flares will sit in the routered underside of the top panel...plus have x4 curved supports per side.
Haven't started gluing yet...I'll do that on the weekend.
Started glue up today, some pics here via photo bucket

So cool!
I wish I had your skills to do something like this. All that bracing is impressive - they should really throw off some sound!
Thanks...but I'm relying on a mate to do the CAD drawing...then a CNC shop to do the cutting....then I relied on the public drawings of the VOTT....I just joined the dots and added some glue!!
With this CNC approach, it's like putting an Ikea desk together.

Wondering about wool/fibre dampening....?
With this cab being super heavy and with substantial braching...what would be the better amount of dampening to use...and where?
I use a more friendly house insulation product...not as bad as fibreglass....about 2.5 inches thick.

Will test using 416 and 515G drivers.

Phil, I have already...see post #1.
Kind regards.

More gluing tonight....
Mid shelf added, plus bracing behind vent.....lot's of PVA going on.
Andrew may I make a suggestion ? Instead of posting the url's, post the IMG codes instead. It will post the photos instead of the links and will help Folk's like GM who are having difficulties with sites like Photobucket. This way he can view them without having to go to the photobucket site.
Example: I'm posting the img codes of your links.
