    DUH!
The fools at Wild Blue don't even know they have an email filter built into the system!

I went there at ROBH's insistance and found all the missing emails with the links I needed to complete my email changes.

Apparently, even though I use Outlook Express, wild blue is always running in the rear.

    Hi GARY,

    - It's good to know that your problem was at Wild Blues' end.

    - Was it an actual Spam Filter ( on your new account that caught & held ) the missing registration emails ?

    - Or was it something else about the way your new account was initially configured ?

    - I'm just trying to learn something through your experience , ( er misfortune ), I mean experience . <. Earl forums

Hi Earl and Dave! MSN Hot mail will probably be the way I go in the near future!

What WildBlue has they call an email filter.

I believe they also have some sort of spam filter but what got me was that I use Outlook Express for my email server. Never gave it any thought to go to the WB email server and check there because I figured Outlook was everything for my emails. Not so! All emails first go through WBs server and then get sent to my Outlook Express. WB was filtering them so I just never got the ones from any of the forums and a few from friends who, for what ever reason got snagged.
All is working fine now and I know to check WB every now and again to see if they snagged others.
As for the speed, It is not great but way, way better then the BS dial up I had. I can go to ebay and forums quite quickly. When I post photos in my Photobucket account it take maybe a minute as opposed to 5 minutes.
The real test will be if I decide to sell something on ebay. Downloading the pics to ebays site was a chore of monumental effort and just one photo at a time. It often took me a full hour to set up an auction with 6 pics.

If you like lots of storage mail.com is a good shot. I've beeen using them since '99 or so. Sometimes a little slow, but mostly OK.

They offer some interesting addies- I have one at mad.scientist.com thru there.

    Gary,
Maybe it's time to get a MSN or Hotmail e-mail address, they work regardless of what ISP you use, I'm slowy transitioning away from Earthlink as I no longer use dial-up. The only complaint I have about MSN mail is they don't let you attach certain types of executable files that in their minds might contain a virus, glad you're back on-line for now, Dave.
