I guess he added none since the plans haven't been published AFAIK. Surprised he didn't just do use his 620's as a guideline, so do this if you want to keep it ~ Altec engineered in concept. Use 3/4" no-void [BB, etc.] plywood on edge or lumber, not MDF, unless you choose to use either a couple of 'window' braces or full height 'X' braces with a notch to support the driver.
Damping is always to 'taste' for a DIYer, but lining just the top, one wall and back with 1" acoustic fiberglass insulation [O-C 703 nowadays] or similar BW absorption material was the norm for Altec and has proven to work well in many of my builds whether BR, TL, etc..
