One has a non genuine recone - the MW one.
Hey while we are talking about Urei 604G, why do they have the different designations? I have one of the early Urei 604G, which just has a regular Altec sticker on the rear cover. I understand that at some point Altec became just the supplier and Urei wanted the woofers to be labeled Urei. I think the 804 came first. So what about the Urei 801? Its the same woofer as both the others, but with a different designation. I just figured they came out of a different style cab and those woofers were labeled different. Is there any more to it than that?
Or could be a change when JBL bought UREI

The one guy is having problems selling the Urei 604G at the starting bid of 399$! If that was a regular Altec 604G it would be long gone at that price. Sometimes I think the vintage audio market is failing. Could just be that people are getting pickier
I picked up one of these to match my other Urei woofer. Its the cheapest way to have a pair of 604G for my model 17 cabs.
