Altec 416 dust cap replacements-where are they?

I was about to hook up my system and noticed one 416-b dust cap was pushed in.

After minimal review of the scene, I am totally blaming this on a curious cat. She must have used the cone as a support for reaching the top of the speaker. Bad kitty!

Anyway, where can I get matching dust caps?

First place I would check is GPA as they still build the 416 drivers and sell recone kits.

Yeah, thanks Bill. I was looking at the website and individual parts are not listed. I know better so I'll call them. I looked at some listings of other vendors but they were all different then the originals. One had a big heavy mat on the outside of the cap, far away from the original look.

So damaged it can't be pulled/popped/sucked out?

Loud is Beautiful if it's Clean! As always though, the usual disclaimers apply to this post's contents.

I pulled the paper and screen out with a sewing needle but Ms Kitty must have been pushing hard with her back paws because the cap is torn in a few spots. It's so bad even I wouldn't try to repair it (and that is pretty bad).
