Let 'er rip Phil. those amps won't care as long as it's somethign reasonably above 105 volts and 50hz. Processing gear might be a bit more fussy about minimum voltage. Frequency isn't a big deal as long as it's close to 60, you;re not trying to cue records to a beat counter or dub tape, right?
Power big loads like the bigger amps up one at a time giving the generator and power supplies time to stabilize. Those bigger amps will make the generator grunt for a few cycles when you power em on.
Worst case will be some alternator whine from the genset thru source/signal gear, some kind of magical power strip might help, a UPS or isolation rig would for sure.
Think about it, our grid power in many places is not much better than a small generator.
