Not VOTTs. But I gather that's reasonable these days. Better than a lot of the offerings I have seen.

They look like fun for somebody.

regardless, if I were to be at all excited for that much, I'd expect some better details, measurements, pics. etc. m-eh.

I'm always amazed when a builder takes the additional labor intensive steps of truncated box corners, half lap joints etc., but cannot find 10 minutes to fill the nose(front edges) of the panels with epoxy or bondo.

That said, it is my speculation that these were built by a sound contractor specifically for a flown install where they were suspended on 4 chains in an inverted(upside down)orientation given the top mounted input plates and bolt holes with washer imprints on the sides. The puddled surround dope suggests they've been sitting with horns on top for some time where they get pretty warm.

My WAG(wild assed guess) is they were originally part of a dance floor/disco system install. The finish only matters if they're located where you can visually scrutinize them, this ain't no disco.

Could also have been a house of worship, they often painted boxes brown to blend in with natural woodwork. But, i'd expect grills, or evidence of where they once were.

Note the one baffle cracked/broken by the weld on the front of the 811 mounting flange.

Hmm, I didn't mention these A7-500 pair ~ an hour away from me because I thought them too pricey.......

Pricey for homebrew cabs, plus no mention of what H.F. drivers and crossovers are included...
